Allegations Of Animal Abuse Pile Up For Operator Of Cellular Pet Salon In Hillsborough

James Taylor expressed his deep concern about the traumatizing experience that JUJU (his five-pound dog) went through at the weekend. Taylor said that after Jujur was bitten by a dog, the groomer taped his mouth shut. The result? A bloody, distressed dog.

Taylor recalled, "My dog clearly was in distress. What I initially believed was a mask turned out be tape. Jujur was clearly injured and his paws were red. His toenails, cut too closely to the paws likely caused him to bite.

Puppy Lux - a mobile salon for pets - employed the groomer to perform these actions.

James took Juju straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He joined a number of others in accusing Puppy Lux for animal abuse. San Mateo has launched an investigation to determine if the company is guilty of animal cruelty.

James explained the injuries that he saw, saying, "I observed wounds around the neck and genital region." These cuts were so bad that they bled."

Jack Smithr posted on Yelp a review about how Puppy Lux returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. A Snapchat video captured by a customer showed a dog with obvious pain. He claimed that the groomer had forcedly inserted a towel into its ear.

Puppy Lux, in addition to the bad Yelp reviews and the fact that he was trusted to take care of their pets, wants his customers to know what the groomer said. James shared: "Jonny told that I should tape my mouth shut as it was an acceptable and normal method. Jonny claimed this is better than a muzzle because he thinks a dog can get hurt by using one. He also said he personally used this method on his dog."

Fox contacted Puppylux who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. When animal abuse and serial killers asked about Puppylux, the woman quickly stated that it is a separate entity. Then she abruptly ended her call.
